sunshine, i'm beginning to like this
Okay, so I'm definetly in some kind of groove because I've never been able to stay focused on drawing for this long. I'm in a zone I suppose, but I don't think it can last too much longer. The quality of it also sort of sucks because I just sort of throw it down before I can think about it much. Whatever.
I've questioned switched my major to graphic design, but I probably won't. I could probably go into graphic design with a marketing degree anyways. I wonder how much a degree is really worth after college. I've seen statistics and a lot of other crap, but I wonder if I would be happier just doing what I want right now rather than be at school. Either way, I don't think I'm wasting my time because I enjoy learning, and I'm sure that in the long term it will benefit me.
I think I'll take a break from drawing for the time being.
we live in a beautiful world
Alright, so Matt was pretty brilliant in thinking that dinosaurs could have quite possibly eaten lots of marijuana, especially because some of them were plant eaters. Imagine a dinosaur who just sat around all day and ate marijuana. His day would play out like this: wake up, eat weed, lay around stoned, get the munchies, eat more weed, pass out. That's incredible.
So this inspired me to draw on our day off. It's a pretty fat dinosaur, but rightfully so because all it does is eat and sleep. If you hadn't noticed he's also sporting some headphones to jam out to while he's stoned; actually I can't draw ears, or imagine what they would like like on a potomus for that matter.
it’s hard to keep my soul on the ground
Well, this image did have colour in it, but apparently I can't upload it. So use your imagination.
This consumed a good portion of my day; perhaps you'll recognize the guy on the left as being John Mayer and the guy in the middle as Edward Norton. Ed's a pretty cool guy. I don't know much about him, but FIght Club freaking rocked so he will forever be cool in my book; unless he really screws up and does something comparable to Vin Diesel's role in The Pacifier. I doubt Ed would do that to me though; we have a mutual agreement; he doesn't sign contracts with Disney and I keep watching his movies.
I'm going to have to cut this post short before it gets too ridiculous...more artwork to come.
